I dunno if everyone needs to race out and purchase it especially if you have a stash palettes like it. This is probably one for the Bobbi Brown fans out there. I was able to maintain the color and the radiance for several hours.īobbi Brown Sculpt & Glow Palette isn’t without some fault but overall, it’s a very pretty palette and I think I’ll get a lot of use out of this Summer. They also wore very long and the glow lasted for a solid seven hours before showing some wear. Other than that the powders applied very well but as I said it took a bit of work to actually get my brush to pick up color. A lighter touch would probably product better results. But I think I was a bit heavier handed in that area. I did notice the highlighter accentuated the pores of my nose a bit (you can see this in my photo). But they do apply beautifully! The finish is outstandingly smooth, even, and flawless on my cheeks. I had to swipe a few times to get color onto my brush which was a touch frustrating. Mmm in this case you’re getting a firm powder but they did prove a little hard to pick up with a powder brush. I typically like gel powders as they tend to be firm but easy to pick up with a brush. The highlighter, blush, and bronzer all have a gel powder formula. Medium Afternoon Glow Highlighter which is a beige champagne shade, Desert Peach Radiant Blush which is warm peach coral with satin finish, and Medium Bronzer which is a medium brown bronzer. The palette consists of three shades with three finishes. It’s made in Italy and oddly says the Highlighter and Blush are 0.15 oz in size but nothing about the bronzer size? I’m assuming the bronzer is the same size. This one is housed in a large gold compact, with a huge mirror inside, the three shades, and a very pretty face material face plate in orange with Bobbi’s emblem (I’m a little worried it’ll get dirty but so far so good). One thing that hasn’t changed about Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is they still come in classy packaging. It worked out ok as I was able to get a nice bit of warmth, color, and glow from all three shades. Normally I get something like this and swirl all the shades together, smile, and blend onto my cheek bones but I was being all technical with it and contouring and highlighting like I knew what I was doing. I don’t even know who the hell I think I am but I was contouring with this palette this week. Somehow, someway, I refuse to give up on the brand. But sometimes, you can snag something awesome from Bobbi Brown and your interest is piqued again (like Skin Full Coverage Concealer is ace!). So, the hit and miss situation became more miss than hit. I absolutely adore Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (particularly during Bobbi Brown’s reign) but Estee Lauder, like many brands they took over, ruined it. It was really pretty in promo images and I thought it would make a great Summer palette! I admit I did brace myself for disappointment with this because even when Bobbi was manning the helm over yonder things were always hit and miss. Don’t ask me what kind of logic that is but I couldn’t begin to tell you what’s going on in my head sometimes.Īnyway, I snatched this up in the shade Medium because I was loving on the warm peach blush. I’m a freak who doesn’t love highlighter nor bronzer but swirl them together in one product like Milani Harmony Blush or put them in a palette together and I’m likely buying it. I purchased this earlier in the week as Bobbi Brown has 25% off your order plus a free gift set featuring a full-size lip product (to get the gift you need to spend $75+). Bobbi Brown Sculpt & Glow Palette ($59) is a new palette featuring highlighter, bronzer, and blush.
